User Research
User research is gathering information about the people who will use a product or service so we can understand their needs and preferences. As a UX/UI designer, I start by looking at similar products or services in the market and analyzing their strengths and weaknesses. This helps me understand what works well and what can be improved.
Information Architecture
Information architecture is the process of organizing and structuring a website or application in a way that makes it easy to use and understand for the people who will be using it. As a UX/UI designer, I create an information architecture that shows how the site is organized, what pages it has, and how users can move around it. After that, I make a map that shows the structure of the site, including the main sections, sub-sections, and pages. I also think about how people will move through the site, which is called navigation design. Delivery Format: A detailed design that shows how the site is organized, including the main sections, sub-sections, and page layouts. You will be able to find this in the main project file in Figma or we can deliver it to you in PDF or PNG format.
Visual Design
Visual design represents the brand and appeals to the intended audience. I take into consideration various elements such as color, typography, images, and layout, and select a color palette that reflects the identity of the brand and appeals to the target audience. I also choose typography that is legible and uniform throughout the site. In addition, the selection of appropriate images that are relevant to the content and appeal to the target audience is also an essential aspect of visual design. I also utilize layout and design elements such as spacing, alignment, and contrast to create a visual hierarchy and guide the user's focus. Overall, visual design plays a critical role in enhancing the user experience. By creating a visually attractive and consistent design, users are more likely to engage with the site, stay longer, and return in the future. Delivery Format: A collection of high-fidelity mockups that exhibit the visual design of the site or application. These can be presented in a format such as Figma, PNG, or PDF.
Accessibility
Accessibility is the practice of creating websites and applications that can be used by people with disabilities. As a UX/UI designer, I make sure that the designs I create are accessible to as many people as possible. To achieve this, I follow accessibility guidelines such as WCAG 2.1. These guidelines outline the standards for creating accessible web content and involve designing for users with visual, cognitive, or even physical disabilities. Designing for accessibility ensures that the website is inclusive and can be used by as many people as possible, regardless of their abilities or disabilities. This creates a positive user experience for all users and ensures that the website complies with accessibility laws and regulations. The deliverable for this process is an accessibility audit report that identifies accessibility issues present in the site or application and provides recommendations for addressing them. This report can be provided in a format such as a PDF or Google Docs.
