About this service

Summary

As I'm looking to build up my portfolio, I'd love to take on a variety of different projects and challenge myself to create the best for any client's needs! My experiences working as a marketer and project manager at Fortune 100 companies and one of the best creative agencies in the world have given me valuable skills to create a solid foundation for my goal to become a Product Designer!

Process

1. Discovery and Strategy
Introduction Client Meeting: Begin with an introduction meeting to understand the client's vision, goals, target audience, and key functionalities desired in the web application.
Market Research: Conduct research to understand industry trends, competitor products, and target audience preferences.
Strategy Development: Define the product strategy, including user personas, user journeys, and the core value proposition of the web application.
Project Timeline: Schedule various client review sessions in order to ensure client expectations are met and aligned with work.
2. Ideation
Content Audit: If redesigning an existing product, perform a content audit to determine what to keep, modify, or discard.
User Flows/Information Architecture (IA): Develop the IA to organize the content and features of the web application in a user-friendly manner.
Wireframing: Create low-fidelity wireframes to outline the basic structure of the web application's pages, focusing on layout and UX without yet incorporating visual design elements.
3. Design
Mood Boards: Create mood boards to establish the visual direction, including color schemes, typography, and UI elements.
High-Fidelity Mockups: Design high-fidelity mockups for key pages, incorporating the visual identity and detailed UI elements.
Responsive Design: Ensure designs are responsive, adapting to different screen sizes and devices. Utilize a mobile-first approach, designing for smaller screens before scaling up to tablets and desktops.
4. Prototyping and User Testing
Interactive Prototypes: Develop clickable prototypes that simulate the user interface and interactions of the web application.
User Testing: Conduct user testing with prototypes to gather feedback on usability, aesthetics, and overall user experience. Use findings to refine the design.
Iteration: Iteratively refine the design based on user feedback and stakeholder input, ensuring the solution meets user needs and business goals.
5. UI Development Guidelines and Handoff
Style Guide: Create a comprehensive UI style guide detailing the design system, including colors, typography, grid systems, and UI components.
Design Specs: Provide detailed design specifications for developers, including responsive breakpoints, animations, and interaction details.
Asset Preparation: Prepare and organize all design assets for development, ensuring they are optimized for web use.
