I would work closely with your copywriter to warrant that every section of the brochure receives the attention it deserves.

• Step 1: The brief

Brochures are made to achieve a clear, tangible goal: to boost sales, to generate new leads, to increase web traffic, and so on. At this stage we discuss the main objective of the brochure.

• Step 2: The research

I familiarize myself with your business. I carefully examine your brand guidebook, analyze brochures and other marketing assets your business created in the past, and research your competition.

• Step 3: The copy

Ideally we schedule a call with your copywriter. Together we decide which parts require emphasis, define calls to action, discuss imagery, word count, order of pages, and other issues.

• Step 4: The first draft

I set up project files in accordance with your brand guidelines, source photos and icons, import copy, and either produce first concept of the entire brochure (if it's a leaflet, booklet, or a trifold), or, if the document contains eight or more pages, design several pages that would determine the overall appearance of the brochure (main offer, advantages, information about the company, etc.)

• Step 5: Final version output

Once I incorporate your feedback the brochure is ready for the final round of revisions. I fix spelling errors, run a QA check, and optimize the document for its intended destination.
