I hold a BA in journalism and am currently an MFA candidate in creative writing. Additionally, I am certified by the University of Chicago in Basic Manuscript Editing and Intermediate Manuscript Editing, which includes a working knowledge of The Chicago Manual of Style.

I mark it up for clarity, structure, and editor-friendliness.
You receive a revised version + summary of what to strengthen.
Submit one revision for a final polish if needed.

    This service covers one pitch. If you’d like feedback on more, I offer a multi-pitch bundle—just ask.

  • Do I need to have a full draft?

    Ideally, yes, but I can help you shape a strong pitch from notes—just let me know what stage you’re at.

  • Do you suggest outlets?

    Yes, I’ll suggest at least three outlet ideas where I think the pitch will be a good fit.

    Includes edits to tighten your lede, sharpen your nut graf, and clarify your hook.

  • Feedback Summary

    A short note highlighting what works, what needs improvement, and a few suggestions for outlets or tweaks to positioning.

  • Optional Follow-Up Edits (1 Round)

    Submit one revised draft within 5 days for a final polish.
