Typically 2 weeks is all it takes, depending on the project's complexity, feature requirements, or number of design revisions needed along the way. Of course, more pages, features, integrations, or complex animations add time and cost to the project
Yes, I can redesign and build directly in your current Squarespace setup to preserve any existing CMS collection and remove the need to migrate content to a new build. If your existing site is on another platform, I can design and build a new Squarespace site and transfer your domain once it's ready. This also allows you to keep your existing site up and running during the redesign and keeps downtime to an absolute minimum for as close to a seamless transition as possible.
On-site SEO is included in every build, to align with best practices and ensure the search engine friendliness of your new site. However, I do not provide content copywriting, keyword research, backlinks, off-site (external) SEO, or any additional SEO services outside of what is necessary for the site build. SEO is a wide specialization in its own right that deserves the attention of an expert dedicated to its complexities.
I prefer to build on Squarespace due to the platform's robustness, design flexibility, and development speed. Squarespace can offers a foundation for scalability if you plan to add content, courses, or sell products in the future.
I offer 30 days of post-launch support to help you get to grips with Squarespace if you're unfamiliar with it and to help troubleshoot and resolve any issues, bugs, or errors with your landing page if any should arise.
No, the cost of Squarespace is not included. My pricing covers the design and development services I provide for your project. Squarespace provides the hosting for your site to keep it online on their platform, for which they charge a monthly or yearly subscription fee. Additionally, that fee allows Squarespace to provide robust website and platform security, maintenance, customer support, and feature development, taking a lot of the headache associated with self-hosting out of your hands.
