As a UGC creator and social media marketer, I wanted a portfolio site that didn't just list my stats, but felt like a fun experience ✨ So ofc I had to merge my signature high-energy neon aesthetic with some gaming-inspired interactions, to showcase how I help the brands I work with make social media fun - which is always my ultimate goal!! Building on Zo Computer was a trip! I went back and forth with it to find the perfect balance between "minimalist professional" and "arcade fun" - and I gotta say, my fav moment was when Zo’s AI tried to "help" by inventing a client named Alex from Habit Stack - it was a hilarious reminder that while AI is a powerful co-pilot, the human touch (and fact-checking!) is still the "secret sauce" in anything we do 🤣 Some of the key features for me would have to be: ⭐️ the "Loading... PROJECT NAME AION PYR — The Aitherioi PROJECT LINK https://app.melius.com/projects/029a5c7f-3a2a-4c7b-a24c-e25f36815d91/canvas/98b87dac-fcc4-411b-8695-83b7dc318726 CONCEPT / PROJECT DESCRIPTION AION PYR is a one-minute instrumental progressive-rock film by The Aitherioi, a fictional trio of pale pre-terrestrial beings older than Earth. They were here when the planet was born from heat, basalt, and lava, and they remain calm as that world dissolves into stardust. The film follows them performing inside a collapsing volcanic cathedral while lava, steam, lightning, and stone slowly give way to void. The music is built only from guitar, bass, and drums: slow, heavy, repetitive, bass-led, and cathartic. PROCESS I started by defining The Aitherioi: a fictional pre-terrestrial trio with a shared visual identity, pale ethereal bodies, severe faces, long dark hair, and calm expressions. Then I built the visual system around contrast: fossil-dark basalt, living lava, white steam, lightning, and their stillness inside collapse. I created character assets, face studies, wardrobe references, instrument references, environment plates, keyframes, and individual video scenes. The music was built first as a strict one-minute instrumental progressive-rock track using only guitar, bass, and drums. The video was then structured to follow the track: bass opening, wide trio, basalt corridor, guitar catharsis, drummer pulse, matter dissolution, and final void. Finally, I stitched the scenes together with clean cuts so the film follows the music without extra transitions or title cards. FEEDBACK ON BUILDING WITH MELIUS Melius worked best as a production canvas rather than a single-prompt generator. The node-based workflow made it possible to build the project in layers: character identity, environments, audio, keyframes, video clips, and final assembly. That helped keep the concept coherent while still allowing corrections when individual shots needed refinement. The biggest challenge was visual continuity, especially keeping The Aitherioi consistent across scenes. The most useful approach was creating strict reference assets first, then using them as anchors for keyframes and video generation.

"Why would anyone read these days? Let me parse these words into an LLM and get a fast synthesis of the message". Of course that can and should be done sometimes, but reading will always be an end in itself - within the pages of a book there will always be a door to a personal revolution, a hero to inspire us in different ways, the questions and answers we need to discover. Reading, in the era of AI and videos is not dead - and I stand by that claim. What literature needs, is a new way to be consumed, a new method to be... userly experienced. Built “Blue Star” for the Melius Creative Challenge ✨ Blue Star is a surreal animated dream world inspired by Vincent van Gogh paintings and lucid dreaming. I wanted to create something that felt less like “AI-generated content” and more like drifting through a living painting at midnight. The workflow was built entirely inside Melius using connected image + video generation nodes to maintain a consistent painterly dream aesthetic across every scene. The project moves through: • floating staircases in endless skies • dreamlike glowing hallways • trains crossing oceans in the night • cosmic sunflower fields • surreal moonlit worlds The goal wasn’t realism. Most interfaces are designed to be used. I wanted to build one that wanted to play back. And here's Monster Snacks — a living cartoon UI where tiny chaotic monsters exist inside the interface itself. Buttons panic when hovered. Menus stretch like chewing gum. Cards bounce with jelly physics. Monsters eat UI elements, chase the cursor, trigger candy explosions, and turn the entire screen into a playable animated playground. The goal wasn’t to make a “clean UI”. It was to create something that feels: ✨ impossible ✨ alive ✨ weirdly joyful ✨ impossible to ignore Every interaction was designed with exaggerated squash/stretch motion, playful chaos, cartoon physics, and nonstop visual reactions to make the interface feel more like an animated toy universe than a website.
