Projects in RomeProjects in Rome2.) Build the world around it; The moment after: Chicken and I
This story, Chicken and I, takes place in a magical world story of a ceramic chicken and a man.
The ceramic man was left forgotten in a forest when the merchant, in a flash, ran from bandits right after a feast. It's a miracle not all of the merchant's belongings were taken or broken. Not only was the Ceramic man safe, he so happened to be in a pile of golden powder; some of it dropped from the merchant's cart, which gave the Ceramic man permanent life
However, the ceramic man wasn't alone. He noticed a ceramic chicken nearby, lying lifeless. Not far from the Chicken were scattered seeds the merchant hadn't finished eating. The ceramic man placed the seeds in a pile. He poured the golden powder onto his stick, then sprinkled golden powder onto the seeds with his stick. He fed them to the chicken, thereby bringing it to life. Now the ceramic man and chicken move on to their next adventures, whatever awaits.
I originally wanted to turn this into a full-blown animated video, but technical difficulties and very little time got in the way of getting it all fixed. I still wanted to share an idea I had in mind the minute I got onto the Museum archive. Maybe in the future, when I'm able to, I'll be able to make full-blown videos within Flora. Either way, it was fun to test out this AI! Hello everyone!
I present to you all a brief submission for the Bubble Free-For-All Contra challenge: The Virus Tracker!
The Virus Tracker is a trustworthy web platform where you can monitor your computer for hidden software hackers, viruses, and malware. It can be complicated to find the right piece of software that will 100% guarantee you complete control over your software and protection against incoming hacks. It can also be hard to find the right antivirus software that offers various plan options for members at a low price; cheap is a rare term to hear nowadays amid inflation and cyberwarfare. The more help, the better.
I built this platform using Bubble and made almost everything from scratch, teaming up with Bubble. Illustrator for the text style reference, color palette reference, logo design, and evil hack character. Photoshop for image editing, and After Effects, Media Encoder, Premiere Pro, and CapCut for the entire video editing. I wanted to take something serious and put my own spin on it. Happy Hack Blocking! Growing up, I've always had what my family and friend/relatives call jokingly "vivid imaginations". Meaning I tend to think otherworldly on a whole other scale that not many people would've thought about, because some of my thoughts may be considered a bit far-fetched or outrageous.
I would always imagine different ideas and scenarios, thinking to myself, "What would it be like if my idea actually became a pure reality with the right tools?" This project is based on a very unusual thought that came across my mind not long ago- whenever I hear the word cabbage, I think of marriage. I basically had an Alice in Wonderland moment and decided to share my vision with the right tools at my disposal for this submission.
I imagined The Cabbage Marriage Wedding as a company-made animated short by an agricultural organization Happy Green Co, expressing an innocent, humorous take on the importance of pure, healthy agriculture.
Direction-wise, this leans towards advertising, a product promo video. To give a glimpse of Happy Green Co's personality and what they can contribute to society through business collaborations and connecting with viewers on a common goal--clean agriculture.
While making this brand and short film, I wanted it to feel personal. I wanted to create something that would put smiles on viewers' faces, so I was careful with selecting the right images to reference (characters/scenery), the font type, color palette, voice acting, sound, music, and animation style based on what I wanted the viewers to see. I imagined myself as the audience.
AI could not think the way I do, nor feel what I feel. To know exactly what I want and reach out to people on an emotional scale. To trigger the right emotions, I wanted the viewers to feel. This is something more than just working with data. It's personal.
Doing this project required me to take control and direct the course of action myself. I was the pilot, whereas Envato was the plane. I made this video and brand into reality, something AI could not do on its own since human interactivity is required.
My presentation of the Happy Green Co's animated short and a thorough behind-the-scenes process- from start to finish- is proof that my human judgment has directed prompt engineering, asset creation, and some finishing touches.
