Not every AI product needs a chatbot. 🤖 As AI becomes part of more digital products, I’m seeing one pattern everywhere: turning every feature into a chat interface. But users don’t always want to have a conversation. Sometimes they simply want: → A clear recommendation → A faster decision → A one-click action → Relevant information at the right moment For me, good AI UX isn’t about making users talk to AI more. It’s about reducing the amount of work they need to do. AI should simplify the experience — not become another step in it. What do you think: are we overusing chat interfaces in AI products?

🤖 AI Can Generate UI. But Can It Design the Right Experience? In 2026, creating screens is becoming easier. AI can help us: ⚡ Generate layouts 🧩 Build components 🎨 Explore multiple directions 💻 Move faster from design to code But great UX isn’t just about generating screens. A designer still needs to understand: → What problem are we solving? → Who are we solving it for? → What should happen when something goes wrong? → Which feature actually deserves to exist? → Is the experience accessible and easy to understand? AI can speed up execution. But research, judgment, empathy, prioritization, and product thinking are what turn an interface into a useful product. The future of UI/UX isn’t Designer vs AI. It’s: Designer + AI = Faster execution + Better decisions. 🚀

AI is changing UI/UX design — but not just by generating screens. The next big shift is Agentic UX: designing experiences where AI can understand a user’s goal, take actions, and still keep the user in control. Instead of making users go through: Search → Filter → Compare → Select → Confirm They may simply say: “Find the best option for me and complete the task.” For designers, this creates new UX questions: • When should AI act automatically? • When should it ask for approval? • How do we show what the AI is doing? • How can users undo an AI action? • How do we build trust when AI makes decisions? • What happens when the AI makes a mistake? I think the role of a UI/UX Designer is moving from only designing screens and flows to designing intent, trust, control, feedback, and human–AI collaboration. This is one area I’m currently exploring and learning more about. What do you think — will Agentic UX become a core skill for Product Designers?

LensCrew Studio — Photography Booking Platform LensCrew Studio is a self-service photography booking platform designed to turn a customer inquiry into a confirmed booking with minimal manual work for the studio owner. The Problem Photography studios often manage bookings through calls and WhatsApp, which creates a lot of repetitive work: Sharing photographer portfolios manually Checking availability one by one Collecting shoot requirements through messages Explaining pricing repeatedly Following up for advance payments Confirming bookings manually Managing rescheduling and reminders The Solution LensCrew Studio brings the complete booking journey into one connected experience. Customers can: Browse photographers by category, style, pricing, and availability View real portfolios with up to 5 photos and 2 videos Compare skills, equipment, packages, and reviews Add complete shoot requirements in one form Choose an available date and time directly from the calendar Select add-ons such as drone photography, videography, lighting, and extra photographers See transparent pricing before checkout Pay a 30% advance to secure the booking Receive instant confirmation Reschedule without filling the entire booking form again Owner-Effort Reduction Once a booking is confirmed, the system can handle: Photographer notification Calendar slot reservation Advance payment status Customer confirmation Booking details Reminder scheduling Rescheduling updates Before Customer enquiry → portfolio sharing → availability check → requirements → pricing → payment follow-up → manual confirmation After Browse → choose → customize → pick a slot → pay 30% → you’re booked Outcome The result is a faster and clearer booking experience for customers, while reducing repetitive coordination for the photography studio.

Built a smoother booking experience for LensCrew Studio 📸 The problem: customers had to message the agency, ask for photographer samples, wait for availability checks, share requirements manually, and follow up for payment confirmation. The solution: customers can now browse photographer portfolios, choose the right photographer, add shoot requirements, check live availability, see clear pricing, pay a 30% advance, and get instantly confirmed. The goal was simple: less back-and-forth for the owner, faster decisions for customers, and a much clearer booking experience. 🔗 Live project: https://screenshot-perfect-display-78.lovable.app/
