Short-form promo for a local musician's new release, built to grab attention and hold it. Visuals built on the music, light sound design layered on text animations. A mix of original footage shot on location, official artist clips and stock video, all cut to feel like one cohesive piece. Every decision in this edit was made with retention in mind.

Shot and edited a promotional reel for drum lessons. Automated captions are great, considerably fast and convenient, but sometimes custom captions give a whole new vibe. Instead of automated captions I built each line manually, matching the typography to the tone of what he was saying. When the word that mattered most came up, it got its own treatment entirely. Small decision. Noticeable difference. Do you go automated or custom?

Emphasized on high energy shots with a fast pace, simple cuts, overlays, text and logo animations. Edited in Final Cut Pro. 🎸

This is one of my favorite edits because it connects with something personal to me. I’ve always loved cats, and my own cat often inspires the calm and mysterious energy that I wanted this video to reflect. For this project I transformed the script into visual storytelling, combining cinematic visuals, AI-generated scenes, and dynamic editing. The goal was to create a peaceful and meaningful atmosphere that matches the message of the video while keeping it engaging for social media viewers.
