Inside the Creative Process: 3D, Nodes, and 2D Finishing While the final animation is live in my Work section, I wanted to show you the actual steps of how this "Forest Spirit" was born. This project was a deep dive into different technical and artistic approaches. What I’m sharing in this breakdown: Real-time Viewport vs. Final Render: I’ve uploaded videos showing how the model looks directly in Blender’s viewport compared to the final lighting setup. It’s important to see how the character holds up in various display modes. Shader & Node Magic: You can see a glimpse of my node tree in the Shader Editor. This is where I created the procedural textures and the bioluminescent glow for the mushroom cap. Krita Post-Processing: I don't just stop at the 3D render. I’ve included a look at how I used Krita to refine the final image, adjusting the colors and adding that extra layer of "fairytale" atmosphere that 3D alone sometimes can't capture. For me, 3D art is about the bridge between technical precision in Blender and artistic touch in Krita. Available for 3D character commissions! If you need a unique model for your project, feel free to DM me. 📺 Full Process Video & High-Res Previews: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/j9shjnvsicz9l42gvdxil/blender_S10yKPLJM2.mp4?rlkey=ui3jrlfpgkkk2q6880dfkfjjq&st=yz8d58bt&dl=0 Feel free to check out the full-length video of my modeling process, node setups, and final touches!

A brilliant character concept is useless if your 3D modeling team can't read it. For Déjà Vu—a character built around the concept of a temporal anomaly fusing an operator with his own future self—the design had to be visually striking but technically clear. I rely on a "high-performance minimalist" presentation UI because visual clutter kills production pipelines. This sheet is built specifically for engine integration. By providing clean orthographic front and back turnarounds, distinct material callouts (the pristine coat vs. the torn remnants), and a highly readable layout, the narrative intent translates perfectly to 3D artists without any guesswork. Looking for production-ready character sheets that you can drop directly into your pitch decks or game design documents?
