We didn't just design Shyne. We went further and defined the audience, validated the problem, mapped the business model, and made deliberate decisions about what gets built and what doesn't. That means sitting with real questions: Who is this actually for? Is there real demand? How does this sustain itself? How do we build the right team around it? For those who don't know, Shyne is a creator tools platform we're building specifically for African freelancers and creators. A space where they can showcase work, get discovered, and actually get paid without friction. Leading this means wearing every hat, designer, strategist, decision-maker, and the person making sure the team is moving in the right direction. The product is taking shape. The vision is clear. And the problem we're solving is one we know intimately because we're part of this community. This is what it looks like when design thinking meets product ownership.

I need a job. Or a gig. Or a startup that needs a designer who actually thinks. So let me introduce myself properly. My name is Godwin. I’m a Product & UI/UX Designer. Over the last few years, I’ve worked on fintech products, AI-assisted experiences, healthcare concepts, creator tools, and startup MVPs focused on real usability problems. I care a lot about clarity. A lot of good design is honestly just reducing confusion. What you get working with me: → Real user flows, not just pretty screens → Someone who asks “why are we building this?” → A designer who can contribute to strategy too Tools I use regularly: Figma · Framer · FigJam · ProtoPie · Canva · Notion · WordPress · VS Code Sometimes I also use AI in my workflow not to avoid thinking, but to move faster and handle startup-level speed without sacrificing quality. Before design I was a tailor, writer, actor, even did comedy at some point. Sounds random, but those things taught me precision, storytelling, and empathy which honestly helps a lot in product design. I’ve spoken at events, co-founded a startup, and learned most things by figuring them out in public instead of waiting to feel “ready.” Right now I’m open to: ✅ Full-time remote roles ✅ Freelance work ✅ Startup collaborations I work well with founders, PMs, and developers. Just give me context and we’re good. Portfolio: https://www.gofolio.site/

Over the past few months, I’ve been building something exciting with my team. We’re creating Shyne, a platform designed to help creatives and service providers present their work better online. Our first product is Shyne Portfolio Maker. We kept seeing talented people struggle to present their work professionally. Many portfolio tools are either too complex or require technical setup. So we built something simpler. With Portfolio Maker, creatives can launch a professional portfolio, CV, or resume website in minutes, answer a few guided questions, choose a style, and get a live link ready to share. We’re putting the final touches on it and preparing to launch soon..

We have yes. We have no. We have maybe But nobody ever asks how close to yes your maybe actually is. Every decision we make gets forced into a binary. Pick a side. Check a box. Move on. But real positions don't live in boxes. They live somewhere on a spectrum between two extremes. Where Do You Stand is a cultural calibration interface that finds exactly where you are on that spectrum. You drag a card. The entire interface transforms around you continuously in real time ; color, typography, spacing, motion, atmosphere, all shifting under your hand based on exactly where you are. Not after you release. During the drag. The transformation lives in the movement itself. It works for design questions. Life questions. Technology questions. Any tension where the answer is between two extremes. https://slate-meta-15875939.figma.site/

Digital Luxury Architecture Is A Sensory Investment, Not Just Layout Design. For Day 9 of my 30-day design sprint, I engineered "Wealth Cock"—a bespoke, immersive digital flagship concept tailored for the ultra-premium spirits and luxury hospitality sectors. When a hospitality brand commands premium pricing, the digital interface must trigger an emotional, sensory reaction. If your web architecture feels like a stock template, the premium illusion vanishes. This UI framework uses an intense, deep-shadow atmosphere accented by high-contrast fluid lighting. By locking the central text arrays directly behind an explosive, high-fidelity liquid asset via responsive z-index layering, we build immediate spatial gravity that holds user retention. The integration of minimal, editorial columns alongside an interactive glassmorphic audio engine signals premium design craftsmanship at a single glance, reducing bounce rates and lifting brand prestige. Engineered natively via Google AI Studio and deployed on Vercel. Are you a premium lifestyle or beverage brand looking to elevate your digital flagship to command higher ticket values? Let's connect here or via DM to structure your web architecture. Day 9 is absolutely exceptional. The consistency and luxury aesthetic you are building is incredible. We are hitting double digits tomorrow what industry or product are we taking down for Day 10?
