UI, UX, Web and Brand design for Web3 and AI companies.

This project set an unusually high bar. We partnered with Mastering The Mix on a new mixing & mastering plugin - collaborating closely with David Guetta and Nicky Romero, whose real-world workflows directly informed the product. Ascendum led the brand, UI/UX, and creative direction - refining every detail until it was ready to perform at the highest level. The product went on to become Mastering The Mix’s best-seller and earn an industry nomination for Mixing Plugin of 2025. This is what happens when design, product thinking, and execution are aligned around results.

Krain wanted a brand and platform that matched their ambition: building an intelligent AI tooling ecosystem. We gave them a world-class rebrand, full site, product UX and UI and designed a feature that reshaped their roadmap. The result? An internal benchmark and launch-ready platform that feels far ahead of the curve.

Most startup websites are judged before they are fully understood. The founder may know the product is strong. The technology may be impressive. The team may be credible. But the visitor does not know any of that yet. They begin with fragments: A headline. A visual style. A logo. A few interface details. A general feeling of quality or lack of it. That first impression determines how generously the rest of the website is interpreted. If the company feels credible, people are more willing to explore. If it feels unclear or unfinished, every claim has to work harder. A practical five-second review: What does the company appear to do? Who does it appear to be for? What level of company does it feel like? What is the most obvious next action? What emotion does the page create? Do not evaluate only whether the hero looks good. Evaluate the assumptions it encourages the visitor to make. People often decide how seriously to take a company before they understand the details. Design that moment deliberately.

Another way to visualize AI product's feature with motion

It's not easy to visualize how AI products work under the hood. But not easy doesn't mean impossible 😎

This is the most complex animation I've built so far. The brief was to create a scroll-driven section for a Framer site, where scroll progress not only triggers few mini-animations inside, each running its own state machine, but it's also connected directly to website elements inside Framer. A few things that made this one hard: ✅ Scroll-to-reveal had to feel smooth and intentional, not like a triggered cutscene. Scroll position needed to map continuously to animation progress, not just fire at thresholds. ✅ 6 separate mini-animations, each with its own state machine, all nested inside one parent composition and orchestrated together without fighting each other. ✅ Getting Framer and Rive to talk to each other cleanly meant building 2 custom code components. Rive's native Framer plugin wasn't enough to pass scroll data through the way this needed. The result is a piece that reacts to the user in real time instead of just playing on load - which is a much harder problem than it looks like from the outside, and honestly the first time I've built something at this level of interactivity.
