As a developer, I love making little tools like like Chrome Extensions, so when I saw a posting on Contra for a real estate scraper, instead of just sending a proposal - I built the actual tool instead. It's a one-click Chrome Extension that scrapes property listings from InvestorLift and sends them straight to Airtable. No manual steps or exports. Just one-click data capture. It's 95% complete and already working on live listings. Whether this converts to a client or not, I had fun solving the problem. Sometimes the best way to show you can do the work is to just… do the work.
