Someone searching “what is SEO” has a very different intent from someone searching “SEO agency for SaaS companies.” 3. What happens after they land? Even qualified traffic can disappear if the page has weak messaging, no clear CTA, poor internal linking, or no logical next step. This is why I look beyond rankings and traffic. The real goal is to build a search strategy that connects: Search Intent → Relevant Content → Authority → Trust → Conversion SEO works best when every part of that journey supports the next one.
