Department of Landscape Architecture at The University of Sheffield – Logo (2014–2020) Process: At its most abstract and minimalist, landscape architecture is about manipulating and structuring space. The negative space between the shapes in the logo is intentionally manipulated to define the landscape. The design has a ‘wild’ aesthetic, reflecting the hands-on nature of landscape architecture. The logo communicates the department’s creative, non-linear side. Seven abstract shapes represent Sheffield’s seven hills. The shapes are enclosed within a square, symbolizing a landscape architect’s role in bringing order to chaos.

The example above uses heads of the students exhibiting work, each head was blended into various Sheffield landscapes and flora.

I wanted colours that could communicate the vibrancy and energy of the students and the people that work there. Also inspired by the aesthetics in colourful landscapes. The brochure is in a sleeve, the modified Gotham type is a die cut out, to reinforce the 'Shape Your World' message.

Wilder Conservation is a demo landing page concept for a technology-driven environmental conservation platform. The project showcases a modern, immersive website experience built around wilderness protection, ecosystem monitoring, and measurable conservation impact. The homepage features a strong visual first impression with a layered parallax-style hero section, atmospheric nature imagery, bold typography, and clear calls to action. The design is structured to feel premium and mission-driven, combining storytelling with product-style presentation. Key impact metrics, such as monitored land area, detection accuracy, and conservation partners, are presented early to create trust and communicate scale. The website continues with sections for advanced monitoring systems, including satellite monitoring, AI species recognition, climate analytics, and sensor networks. These content blocks demonstrate how a conservation organization could present complex technology in a simple, accessible way. The page also includes an “Our Approach” section, active conservation initiatives, a visual impact/results area, and a final mission-focused call to action. The goal of this project was to create a polished demo website that demonstrates strong frontend design skills: smooth visual hierarchy, scroll-based storytelling, responsive landing page structure, reusable content sections, and a refined nature-inspired aesthetic. Wilder Conservation can be used as a portfolio example for building modern marketing websites, SaaS-style landing pages, nonprofit platforms, or technology-focused brand experiences.

The website is built around a clean, visual-first presentation that introduces Andrea as a designer focused on meaningful digital experiences and user-centered solutions. The homepage is designed to create a strong first impression through refined typography, elegant spacing, smooth section flow, and a portfolio-style structure that feels personal, professional, and easy to explore. The project highlights how a designer portfolio can go beyond a simple résumé page. It presents the designer’s personality, skills, work approach, and selected projects in a structured way, helping potential clients or employers quickly understand the value behind the design work. The layout is suitable for showcasing case studies, design process, services, experience, and contact details without overwhelming the visitor. The goal of this project was to create a stylish and consistent portfolio website that demonstrates strong frontend and visual design skills: modern landing page composition, responsive layout, clear hierarchy, reusable content sections, smooth storytelling, and a professional aesthetic tailored to creative professionals. Andrea Portfolio can be used as a demo for personal websites, UX/UI designer portfolios, freelancer profiles, creative résumés, or service-based personal brands.
