Day 3 of trying to find a client on Contra. I built my portfolio (finally!) - and what a ride itā€™s been. Plan:Ā Build on Framer. Model my character in Blender. Mode = Easy. Reality:Ā High on caffeine. Countless crashes. Occasional procrastination disguised as ā€œcreative process.ā€ Between 3D modeling, rendering, and optimizing performance so the site didnā€™t turn my computer (or anyone elseā€™s) into a space heater, I learned a lot about patience and site optimization. Itā€™s still a work in progress, but seeing everything live feels incredible - like a real snapshot of the designer Iā€™m growing into. šŸ“ King Pong VII ā€“ Playable Ping Pong Poster Back in 2018, Rethink Ideas wanted an interactive website to get employees excited for the annual King Pong tournament. I helped create a web-based interactive poster that turned your phone into a ping pong paddle ā€” built with Three.js. By visiting the site, players could swing their phone like a real paddle to bounce a virtual ball, complete with motion detection and real-time physics. It was a playful way to bring tech and culture together, transforming an event poster into a mini-game that people couldnā€™t stop showing off. I also textured the ping pong ball in Substance Painter for the design team to use across other campaign visuals. It was an amazing tournament, even though I was terrible at ping pong! šŸ˜
