Put the live-site check in your launch plan before deployment day.
A staging pass tells you what worked in that test environment. Give someone a specific check to repeat after the release reaches the live site.
In the Website Launch QA Kit's fictional Fern Studio example, the postlaunch plan assigns Avery to repeat the contact journey and navigation on the live deployment immediately after release, using the approved test method.
For your next client-site handoff, write down:
• Who performs the live check and when
• Which critical journey they will repeat
• The approved test data and expected result
• Where the result and any new issue will be recorded
For a contact journey, that might mean checking the live navigation path, submitting once with approved test data, and checking both the visible confirmation and receipt in the approved test inbox. Keep the evidence tied to the deployed version. If the result differs from staging, record the new issue and route it to the release owner.
Shown: the actual “Make the launch decision” page from the included fictional completed example. All people and records in that example are invented.
Command Current's downloadable kit includes a five-page editable Word packet, matching print PDF, Excel tracker, five-page fictional example and two-page Quick Start. Designed for desktop Word and Excel. These are manual coordination templates; they don't run tests or authorize a launch.

Custom research platform for ~9,000 US towns. A US nonprofit research team had a survey programme that outgrew its Qualtrics setup, so I built a custom web app, a repeatable data model and a filterable dashboard, going from brief to deployed in under a week and producing 170,000+ clean records.
