Pricing page from a new project AI change a lot how we work and I think outsourcing should change as well, in my new work I'm trying to create a better workflow for both clients and agency. Check this out! Would appreciate a feedback

Rethinking agency pricing and outsourcing together makes sense if AI changed how much you deliver per hour. The pricing page preview will be interesting next to old retainers.

Stories in a Cup of Coffee —

It was drizzling when I found that café. Not the kind of rain that makes you run for shelter, but the kind that makes you slow down. A small wooden board hung outside the door.

“Today's Special: Someone Else's Story.” I smiled at the strange sign and walked inside. The café smelled like coffee, old books, and something warm I couldn't name. I chose the corner table, opened my diary, and wrote the first line I'd been unable to say out loud for months. “I don't know what I'm doing with my life.”

I stared at the sentence, then closed the diary. I had always been better at writing feelings than speaking them. The next evening, I returned. The same table was empty. The same quiet music played in the background. But this time, there was a notebook on the counter with a handwritten note beside it.

“Write the story you've never told anyone. Leave it for someone who needs it.” I smiled. It felt strange, almost childish, but I picked up the notebook anyway. I wrote about a girl who had spent years pretending she was fine because she didn't know how to ask for help. When I finished, I closed the notebook and left it there.

The next day, there was another story. A man had written about his mother, who had passed away before he could tell her how much he loved her. The day after that, someone wrote about a dream they had abandoned because their family didn't believe in it.

Then someone wrote about a friendship that ended without a goodbye. Every evening, a new story appeared. And every evening, I read it.

I began recognizing pieces of myself in strangers. Their fears. Their regrets. Their hopes. Their tiny victories. I started writing too. I wrote about the things I was afraid to admit. I wrote about loneliness.

About wanting to be loved but being terrified of being known. About the books I wanted to write someday. About the version of myself I had stopped believing in. One evening, I found a story that was different. It said, “Sometimes we think we're waiting for the right person when we're actually waiting for the courage to become the right version of ourselves.”

I read it three times. Then I looked toward the café owner. His name was Ved. He was usually behind the counter, quietly making coffee and watching people without interrupting them. “Do you write these?” I asked. He smiled. “Some.” “And the others?” “People leave them.” “Why?” He shrugged. “Because sometimes strangers are easier to talk to than people who know us.” I looked at the notebook. “Do you read all of them?” “Only when someone wants me to.” “And mine?” “You never told me not to.” I laughed. “What do you think of them?” He placed a cup of coffee in front of me. “I think you're writing around something.” “What does that mean?”

“You're telling everyone else's story because you're afraid to tell your own.” I didn't return the next day. Or the day after that. I stayed home and stared at my blank notebook. For the first time, I realized he was right.

I had written about imaginary people for years because imaginary people couldn't judge me. They couldn't leave. They couldn't misunderstand me. They couldn't tell me I wasn't enough. Real people could. On the fourth evening, I went back to the café. The notebook was waiting for me. I opened to a blank page. Then I began writing. “My name is Aanya. I am twenty-six years old. I have spent most of my life believing that being quiet means being strong. I don't know if that's true anymore.” I kept writing. I wrote about my childhood. My parents' expectations. The dream I'd given up. The relationship I'd ended because I was afraid of getting hurt. The friend I missed but was too proud to call.

The things I wanted. The things I feared. When I finally looked up, the café was almost empty. Ved was standing behind the counter. “Finished?” he asked. I nodded. “How does it feel?” I thought for a moment. “Like breathing after holding my breath for years.” He smiled. “Good.” Weeks passed. The notebook filled with stories. Some were funny. Some were heartbreaking. Some were only a few sentences long. One person wrote about falling in love.

Another wrote about falling out of love. Someone wrote about failing an exam. Someone else wrote about getting their first job. A woman wrote about becoming a mother. A man wrote about losing his brother. A teenager wrote about feeling invisible. Nobody knew who had written what. Nobody needed to. The café became a place where people came not only for coffee, but to leave pieces of themselves behind. One rainy evening, I found a story that made my hands stop moving.

“To the girl who sits by the window and writes in the corner notebook: I don't know your name, but your stories made me believe that I'm not the only person who is scared of starting over.” I looked around the café. Nobody was watching me. I turned the page. Another sentence followed. “Thank you for reminding me that strangers can sometimes become the safest people in our lives.”

I smiled. Then I wrote my own reply. “Thank you for reading.” That night, I realized something. I had come to the café because I wanted to become a writer. I stayed because I had finally learned what stories were really for. They weren't only meant to entertain people. Sometimes they were meant to tell someone, somewhere, “I understand.” Months later, the notebook was almost full. Ved placed a fresh one beside it.

“Time for volume two,” he said. I laughed. “What if nobody writes in it?” “Someone will.” “How do you know?” He looked around the café. A couple was sharing a dessert. A woman was reading by the window. A student was typing on her laptop. An old man was quietly watching the rain. “Because everyone has a story,” he said. “Most people are just waiting for a place where they feel safe enough to tell it.” I opened the new notebook. On the first page, I wrote one sentence: “This is a place for stories that have nowhere else to go.” Then I left the notebook on the counter.

The next morning, there was already a new story inside. I read it slowly. It was about a girl who walked into a café one rainy evening because she didn't know where else to go. She thought she was looking for coffee. She didn't realize she was looking for herself. I smiled. I knew that story. It was mine. And for the first time, I wasn't embarrassed to say it. I closed the notebook, picked up my coffee, and looked around the little café. Everyone was carrying something I couldn't see. A memory. A regret. A dream. A goodbye. A beginning. And suddenly, I understood why I loved stories so much. Every person was one. Every stranger was a chapter I hadn't read yet.

And sometimes, all someone needed was a quiet table, a warm cup of coffee, and a blank page. As I stepped outside into the rain, I whispered to myself, “Maybe that's what stories are for—to remind us that we're never really alone.”

The End.
