$10k on Contra. Eight months, and all of it organic.
I didn't have a network here or an agency feeding me clients. It was just me sending proposals and doing the work.
The first few months were slow. Some messages went nowhere, and there were projects I really wanted but didn't get.
Then a client said yes, and a little while later another one did too. That's when it stopped feeling like luck and started feeling like something I was actually building.
There was no clever hack behind it. I just showed up, did the work properly, and treated every small project like it mattered.
And it showed. Every review I've received on Contra is a 5 out of 5. Not because I asked for it, but because I cared about getting each project right.
To everyone who trusted me with their website or their automation, thank you. A lot of you came back for more, and some of you sent other people my way. That has meant more to me than the number itself.
$10k isn't a huge amount to some people, but to me it's proof that you can start with nothing and build something real.
Onto the next one.
And if you're early in this and it feels quiet right now, keep going. That quiet stretch is usually where most people quit, right before things start to move.
