Custom Kajabi Design & Development for Sherpa

Overview

Sherpa is a leadership consulting firm that guides boards and senior leaders through succession, transitions, and high-stakes decisions — helping them "move forward with steadiness instead of guesswork." With decades of combined ministry and organizational leadership behind it and a team of certified guides, Sherpa needed a platform with the gravity and polish to match the weight of the work they do. I designed and custom-developed the entire experience natively in Kajabi.

The Challenge

This is a firm that senior leaders trust with pivotal moments, so a generic template was out of the question. The platform had to feel premium and editorial — serious, grounded, and credible — while doing real work: introducing multiple "guides" with their own profiles, laying out distinct services (search and succession, succession planning, leadership development), featuring a published book, enabling speaker/event booking, and driving prospects toward a single clear action — scheduling a conversation. All of it had to hold together as one cohesive, high-trust brand.

The Approach

This is exactly my niche: fully custom design and development, built entirely in Kajabi — no templates. I designed a bold, editorial aesthetic — deep charcoal paired with warm cream and a confident rust-orange accent, large condensed typography, and strong documentary-style photography — that leans into the firm's guiding, mountain-trail metaphor. Then I hand-built the whole thing in Kajabi so it looks and performs like a bespoke consulting brand while running entirely on the platform their team can manage.

What I Built

A cinematic homepage anchored by the firm's message — "guiding good leaders to reach great goals" — with clear positioning and a strong "schedule a conversation" call to action.

A guide profile system — individual, on-brand pages for each consultant, with their story, stats, and credentials.

Service pages for search & succession, succession planning, and leadership development, each structured to build trust and lead to a conversation.

A book feature and a speaker/event booking path.

Conversion funnels and supporting pages, all tied together in one cohesive experience.

Design & Development Details

Every custom-coded section sits behind Kajabi's native editor, so Sherpa's team can update profiles, services, and content without touching code. The entire build is fully responsive and mobile-optimized, with the bold editorial design tuned to feel premium on every screen. The result behaves like custom consulting-firm software while staying easy for a non-technical team to run.

The Result

Sherpa launched with a platform as steady and credible as the counsel they provide — a bold, editorial, fully custom Kajabi build that positions them as the trusted guide for leaders navigating their most important decisions. It's another example of what I do best: taking a serious brand and proving that Kajabi can deliver genuine custom design and development, not off-the-shelf templates.
