The Honest Dev's Hustle: Trading code for a trip to the mountains 🏔️
Hello Everyone! 👋
I'm a Full-Stack Developer setting a very specific, transparent goal for the next few weeks: I am trying to hit a $100 freelance target by the end of July so I can fund a trip to Northern Pakistan with my friends this August.
Instead of battling the algorithms and karma systems on traditional freelance platforms, I wanted to reach out directly to the builder community here.
🛠️ What I Bring to the Table
I work primarily with the MERN/PERN stacks, Next.js, and NestJS. Lately, my technical focus has also expanded into AI.
On the architecture side, I love getting into the weeds of database design.
🤝 How I Can Help You Right Now
If you in need to get your small tasks or projects completed I am taking on bite-sized, short-term works(starting around 5$ to $20) to hit my target.
Here is what I can take off your plate this week:
Squashing Frontend Bugs: Got a React state issue, a Next.js hydration error, or a UI component that won't behave? I can jump in and patch it.
Database Schema & SQL: Need complex queries optimized, triggers written, or a solid database design (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB)?
AI Integration: Want to hook up an LLM wrapper, write specific system prompts, or set up a basic RAG pipeline for your app?
Backend Endpoints: Need a quick, secure REST API built out in Node.js, Express, or NestJS?
Let's Connect!
If you have a small task, a bottleneck in your codebase, or just need an extra set of hands to ship a feature faster, drop a comment below or send me a direct message! I'd love to connect.
Thanks for reading, and happy coding! 🚀

Built this. Figured you should see it. https://alba.ai2.design/
the minimal setup on alba feels super sharp. did you prototype the transitions in figma first?
Morrow Atelier turns a panicked 'my wedding is in three weeks and my dress doesn't fit' message into a confirmed, pre-briefed fitting — the bride pins her fit zones on a live 3D gown at midnight, and Mara opens her morning with one prepared case instead of a week of back-and-forth
fabulous work @Omar Elmehammedy. upgoated...!
Opening on "You shipped the code." is a strong hook. It speaks straight to developers before the product even appears. 23 seconds feels like the right length for a SaaS demo too.
