Yayako is a scalable, multi-vendor e-commerce platform built to streamline the entire retail pipeline. To ensure an optimized, clutter-free user experience, the system was engineered as a dual-app architecture: a dedicated consumer application for seamless shopping and discovery, and a separate, robust merchant application built specifically for sellers to manage business operations.

Product Scope: End-to-end marketplace management, vendor profile provisioning, and automated retail logistics.

Traditional, single-app marketplaces often struggle with feature bloat and poor user experience.
Overwhelming Interfaces: Forcing complex merchant tools (inventory tracking, order fulfillment, earnings analytics) into the same app used by casual shoppers leads to heavy app sizes and clunky navigation.
Friction in Store Management: Small business owners and independent sellers need an on-the-go workspace that lets them upload inventory and manage customer requests instantly without distracting consumer-facing features.
Asynchronous Data Flows: Syncing inventory updates from a seller in real time so that buyers don't accidentally purchase out-of-stock items requires a highly responsive backend architecture.

Dedicated Seller Workspace: A separate app designed exclusively for vendors to register, build their corporate or independent brand profile, and manage their storefront.

Real-Time Order Fulfillment: A dedicated dashboard providing immediate push notifications for new sales, letting vendors process and ship orders efficiently.

Dual-App Codebase Strategy: Structured the frontend architecture to share core utility modules, styles, and API clients while completely isolating the unique user flows of the buyer and merchant applications.
Real-Time Inventory Synchronization: Implemented robust state management and lightweight database polling/webhooks to ensure that as soon as a merchant adjusts stock levels in the seller app, the change reflects instantly on the customer app.
Scalable API Design: Built a unified, highly secure RESTful API backend equipped to handle concurrent requests from two entirely different apps without performance degradation or data collision.

I built The Quiet Chair, a booking experience for a fictional single-chair hair studio in Baner, Pune, run by a solo stylist named Mira.
Miraās problem is simple: every booking message interrupts an appointment. Checking availability, confirming times, and handling changes take attention away from the customer in her chair.
The app lets customers choose a service, see available times, and receive an immediate booking confirmation. Availability accounts for opening hours, lunch breaks, existing appointments, and cleanup time. Customers can request a quiet appointment and use a secure link to reschedule or cancel, with online changes closing four hours before their appointment.
Mira has a protected owner workspace to view her daily agenda, check customer preferences, manage appointments, and block personal time.
I built it to turn āCan I book with you?ā into āYouāre bookedā without needing a reply from the ownerāand to make later changes just as straightforward. The result is fewer messages, fewer manual calendar checks, and more time for Mira to focus on her clients. @Lovable
