Country Explorer is a modern web application built with Next.js 14, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Shadcn UI that enables users to discover detailed information about 250+ countries through a fast, intuitive, and responsive interface. The platform centralizes country data into a single experience, eliminating the need to search across multiple sources.
Key Highlights:
Integrated the REST Countries API with secure server-side data fetching using Next.js App Router.
Implemented intelligent search with autocomplete and advanced filtering by region, subregion, capital, language, and currency.
Displayed comprehensive country information, including population, capital, currencies, languages, calling codes, borders, area, time zones, flags, and interactive maps.
Designed responsive, animated country cards with a clean and modern UI using Tailwind CSS and Shadcn UI.
Optimized the application for performance, accessibility, and seamless navigation across all devices.
