ORIGIN → BOUND | A Motion Design Experiment
An idea begins as something small. It takes shape, comes to life, and gradually builds its own world. But what happens when the very boundaries that define it become the things that hold it back?
ORIGIN → BOUND is a personal motion design project exploring the contrast between creation, freedom, and confinement. Through abstract shapes, geometric forms, lighting, and movement, I wanted to tell a visual story that transitions from energy and creation to restriction and stillness.
The goal was to create something that communicates a feeling without relying on characters or dialogue. Every movement, transition, shape, and lighting detail plays a part in building the narrative and creating a cinematic visual experience.
Created entirely in Adobe After Effects, this project gave me an opportunity to experiment with shape animation, geometric compositions, wireframe elements, lighting, transitions, and sound design while exploring a more minimal and atmospheric visual direction.
Beyond the final visuals, this project represents my approach to motion design: combining thoughtful concepts, strong visual composition, and purposeful animation to turn ideas into engaging experiences.
