My First Boo! 👻

My First Boo! is a Halloween score-chasing game about an ink ghost scared of its own shadow.

Tap falling candy, avoid bats and webs, and tackle three stages with changing wind, tougher item patterns and a final-stage comeback chance. During bonus time, drag the lantern after the fleeing ghost. Grow its silhouette on the wall until it notices, freezes and jumps in fright to earn BOO! +300.

I built it with a coding agent using the Rive CLI, RML, Luau scripting, Data Binding and a State Machine. I paired Illustrator-prepared SVG layers with directional reflections, floating motion and expressive reactions to keep the ghost’s personality consistent.

A shared Supabase leaderboard compares players’ best runs. The 48-second walkthrough shows gameplay, actual RML excerpts and an Editor view of the layered artwork.
