I found an 18th-century Mughal jade and gold khanjar (dagger) in the MET MUSEUM, and was drawn to its emerald color, velvet tones, gold engravings, and set gemstones. I turned these details into one palette and ornament language: emerald green, velvet brown, antique gold, and ruby and diamond accents. From it, I built a men’s collection of wearable pieces, including a jewelled velvet shirt with gold embroidery, sneakers, and a ring, presented like a real fashion campaign. The aim is to bring Indian craftsmanship back into everyday menswear, where sweats and stretchy basics have replaced dressing up. The whole series was generated with a custom
Recraft.ai Style built from the dagger, so anyone can try it.
