The Anti-AI exercises are a genuinely interesting design decision. Most productivity tools push you further into AI dependency. Building in deliberate mental exercises that don't involve AI as part of the core flow is a counterintuitive but sensible response to the problem you identified.

My path to design wasn't a straight line. After a rewarding chapter in journalism and entrepreneurship, I pivoted to UI/UX. The transition felt surprisingly natural - skills like structuring information architecture and focusing on iterative improvement proved to be the perfect foundation for digital product design.
Now, I'm putting theory into practice at a British B2B company. By simplifying complex user flows and designing data-heavy dashboards, I'm getting the ultimate hands-on design education.
I'm also actively exploring how AI tools can streamline design workflows, assist with UX writing, and spark new visual concepts.
