Order Management Platform Built with React and Node.js
Face IT designed and developed Finefinders from scratch - a custom order management platform that helps company teams manage products, process orders, control user permissions, and handle media content within a centralized system.
Overview
Finefinders is a custom Order Management System developed to simplify product management, order processing, and internal team collaboration.
The platform was built from scratch by the Face IT development team and reached its beta stage after approximately one year of development.
The initial version focuses primarily on functionality and business processes, with three core areas:
- Product management
- Order management
- User profiles and permissions
The team also developed an early customer-facing interface that allows users to place orders and track their status.
The challenge
The client needed a centralized system that could support complex product and order workflows while giving each team member access only to the sections and actions relevant to their role.
The platform also needed to handle a large number of calculations, media files, integrations, and real-time interactions without requiring users to reload pages after every action.
Our solution
Face IT implemented the full solution from the ground up, covering both backend architecture and frontend development.
On the backend, our team built the application logic, database structure, integrations, calculations, and role-based access system.
We implemented advanced product and order management workflows that allow users to update and manage data dynamically without unnecessary page reloads.
Cloudinary was integrated to support uploading, storing, organizing, and managing product media according to different business scenarios.
On the frontend, the team transformed the client’s requirements and design materials into a functional, responsive interface for managing products, orders, profiles, and permissions.

When I moved to Portugal, I had a big desire to build something for the community.
As I'm living in a small town called Costa da Caparica, I did some research and found out that the aren't enough information about it on the internet, and many local businesses aren't present online at all.
So I decided to create such a platform for tourists, locals, and digital nomads - a place where I gather information about where to go, what to visit, where to buy what you need, where to find a doctor, a pharmacy, or a surf coach.
I'm planning to add even more features with time, such as local news, info about events, etc. What surprised me is that right after launching the website, a few business owners reached out to me with requests to add their businesses to my platform.

Spent the weekend cleaning out my camera roll. Somewhere in there I noticed something I'd swiped past a thousand times, that subtle parallax shift when you move between photos.
So I rebuilt it for the web.
- Spring physics, no animation library
- Rubber band effect at the edges
- Full keyboard navigation
- Screen reader support
Didn't want to just leave it as a demo. If you can't use a mouse, it still works. If you can't see it, it tells you what photo you're on.
Love that you didn't stop at making it look good. Accessibility is what makes it complete.
