PAWPOP! — The Happy Pet Club

Most pet-care sites take your money first, then go looking for someone free. I wanted to build one that works the other way round.

PawPop is a booking site for dog walks, drop-in visits, sitting, overnights, daycare and cat sitting— built end to end on Base44.

The whole thing is organised around one rule: never show a promise the system can’t keep.

• Every slot offered is one a real caregiver is genuinely free to cover • Your postcode is checked against the service area before you commit to anything • Pet profiles— size, temperament, vaccination status, vet and emergency contacts— are saved once and shown only to the caregiver on a confirmed visit • Cancel, and the slot is released immediately so another pet can have it • Revenue in the reports only counts bookings a payment provider has independently marked paid

Behind it is a full admin side: live booking records, caregiver assignment in one click, a staff rota that the public calendar is drawn from, and one pricing table that both the public calculator and every booking total are computed from.

And once a booking lands, it runs itself:

• The request is recorded and confirmed by email the moment it’s made— nobody retypes anything • It moves through its own statuses— pending assignment, awaiting payment, confirmed, in progress, complete— and every view follows along • Assign a caregiver in the admin and the owner hears about it without anyone sending a message • After the visit, the care report lands back in the owner’s account by itself

Every owner gets their own dashboard too: upcoming visits, pets on the account, notices, and the history of past visits— plus reschedule and cancel, which put the slot straight back on the calendar.
