Meet SORA Studio Bali—a custom, mobile-first booking app I built to help a boutique nail and beauty studio in Canggu ditch the chaos of WhatsApp messages and paper diaries.
I designed it specifically for the phone, simply because that is how customers in Bali actually book their appointments. The goal was to replace manual back-and-forth messaging with a seamless experience that a small business could start using tomorrow, with zero training required.
Here is how the experience flows for everyone involved:
For the Customers: Booking in Under a Minute
Customers can open the app, browse through services with transparent pricing, pick their preferred date, time, and artist, and confirm their appointment in under 60 seconds. Once booked, they can save it straight to their phone’s calendar with built-in reminders so they never miss a session.
The AI Concierge Experience
To make booking feel even more personal, I integrated an AI Concierge powered by Lovable AI Gateway. If a customer doesn't want to scroll through a menu, they can just type out what they need in plain English—like, "I'm looking for a gel manicure and some nail art this Thursday afternoon." The AI understands their goals and availability, recommends the perfect services, finds an open time slot, and pre-fills the booking for them instantly.
For the Studio Owner: A Stress-Free Dashboard
On the business side, the studio owner gets a clean, live dashboard where bookings organize themselves. Every new appointment syncs instantly to a shared database. From this hub, the owner can track revenue stats, monitor outstanding balances, manage per-appointment invoices, and track payments. They can easily edit service prices on the fly and, with just one tap, export their daily schedule to their own calendar.
Under the Hood
To keep everything lightweight, fast, and cohesive, the entire platform was built using the Lovable ecosystem:
Frontend: React + Tailwind for a beautiful, responsive, and app-like feel.
Backend: Lovable Cloud handles the database, secure authentication, and real-time syncing so the dashboard is always up to date.
Intelligence: Lovable AI Gateway powers the natural language recommendation model for the concierge.
Ultimately, SORA Studio Bali takes the messy, everyday operational stress out of running a small beauty business, giving the owners their time back to focus on what they do best.

MobiFix Nairobi is a fictional mobile automotive service business built around one simple problem: booking vehicle services often means back-and-forth messages, checking availability, coordinating technicians, confirming locations, and handling payments manually.

Introducing EVERMORE a bridal boutique on King Street, Charleston 💍
A little bit backstory
I don't normally do this and if this challenge I hadn't seen yesterday, I don't think I would never have tried the new #Lovable to be honest. I normally use other cli tools in my day to day work, but this is the first time I was having this much fun while building a project.
What you're looking at is everything I managed to do in one night before the tokens ran out ( got down to ~5 credits from 200 something).
Let's come down to point. The submission is based on an actual client .(The name and location etc is fictional , but her problems are not )
So Juliette runs EVERMORE, with Tess styling on weekends only.
Two fitting rooms: the Grand Salon (bride + 5) and the Boudoir (bride + 2). Visits are 45, 60 or 90 minutes, and every room needs a 15-minute reset.
Saturdays fill first. She's with a bride all day, so every "Can I book?" DM waited until 11pm.
With our help , what is happening now is
- Brides are booking based on the availability themselves , without waiting for reply in dm.
- Getting Instant confirmation with a private link to confirm. They have the options for later cancel their appointment as well if they change their mind or due to any emergency. No questions asked and without disturbing any one else as well.
- To remember they can put it in calendar as well
- While booking their preference like how they want to look, styles, budget, comfort notes etc, also can be added directly so that boutique owner can prepare for her visit and make everything in her capacity to make the bride to be comfortable
- Based on the preferences of bride , A Salon Screen was ready for her and her only to showcase the type of dress she want in detail and talk about it in person while trying them out, the screen can be managed by the studio owner and could be put on any display like tv or laptop or monitor .
- It first greets the bride with personal message and also let her capture the screen and share it in here social, giving a viral factor in social media with tags
- The same screen also lets studio owner to note down the preference of the bride more clearly after having met in person
→ Once the meeting is done, both the client and studio owner will have different place to go back and do things like note down the next steps, result of the meeting , the feedback from the client , basically the whole formality whatever happens

Wow.. I worked hard on my submission.. but this is amazing... Nice work. I can tell you worked super hard on this.
Day 3 of working on my project for the Lovable Challenge.
And somehow, almost one full day of those three went into the intro you see when the page first opens.
Not because it was necessary — mostly because I’ve wanted to try something like this for a long time.
Web design and development are far from my main field, so I kept putting this idea off. This challenge finally gave me a reason to test it properly — and seeing it actually work is ridiculously satisfying.
The video was converted into an image sequence and tied directly to scrolling on desktop and swiping on mobile, so the animation is controlled by the user as they move through the page.
Right now the project is already at Build 4.2.3.
The backend is working properly, the main mechanics are in place, but visually… there’s still a lot to redo. The current plan is to rebuild almost the entire visual layer before the final version.
I also found out today that Lovable reduced the number of prize spots quite significantly — apparently, there will only be 3 finalists.
That definitely makes the odds a little more painful 😅
But either way, I’m already getting a new portfolio case out of this project, and I’m finally experimenting with things I’ve wanted to build for a long time.
