roote

roote is a creative lineage platform that helps every new creation remember where it came from.

In most creative workflows, inspiration gets separated from its origin. A photo, sketch, texture, colour, note, or cultural detail might spark a design, but once that idea is transformed, the original moment and creator often disappear from the story.

roote keeps that story visible.

People can upload everyday moments and turn them into reusable roots: motifs, palettes, textures, weaves, and embroidery ideas. These roots enter a shared global library where other makers can discover, collect, and use them en route.

Inside Remix Studio, roots can be combined into new compositions such as posters, textiles, garments, cards, campaigns, or visual concepts. But every remix keeps a visible lineage trail back to the roots, creators, and moments that shaped it.

Finished remixes can be showcased, marked complete, or fed back into the library as new reusable roots — carrying their lineage forward for the next maker to build from.

The workflow was built around this loop: moment → root → global library → use en route → remix → showcase → feed back into the library. I first used Figma Design to map the product concept, user journey, and visual direction, then used Figma Make to build the working prototype across the landing page, upload/extract flow, Explore library, multi-select use en route interaction, Remix Studio, Showcase, Profile, and lineage system.

roote imagines a more appreciative creative community where inspiration can travel across people, places, and cultures without losing its memory.

Every creation has a root. Every root has a route.
