Here's the tl;dr on how I handle feature development using Cursor as a solo dev:

1. Pick a feature and use the plan tool with blocking/non-blocking tasks in mind

2. Ask Cursor to analyze the plan for gaps in logic and unintended consequences

3. Use Cursor Composer to execute tasks from the plan one by one; don’t move on until you’ve tested the deliverable

4. Have Cursor update the plan

I just posted a deep dive on how I use Cursor's planning tool: https://rachel.fyi/posts/how-i-use-cursor-to-plan-and-ship

When I started freelancing, I never imagined reaching milestones like this. There have been challenges, long nights, and plenty of lessons along the way.

Seeing that consistent effort pay off feels rewarding.

A big thank you to all my clients who trusted me with their ideas and everyone who has supported me along the way.

Still a long way to go, but today, I'm taking a moment to appreciate how far I've come. ❤️

What's a recent milestone that made you feel proud?

Spent a few hours tweaking my police chase game in Unity today.

Reworked all the menus and modals using Claude Design and Opus 5.5 and also made a few small tweaks to the lighting.

I’ve also started on all the tedious stuff like integrating ads, setting up App Store page and all the boring admin stuff. Luckily asc.cli can handle most of it otherwise I would procrastinate over it for weeks.
