How I Approach a New Website Project
A website isn't just about choosing a nice template, adding images, and publishing it.
Before I write a single line of code or start designing in Elementor, I want to understand the business behind the website.
Here's how I approach a new website project:
🔹 1. Understand the business
I start by learning about the company's services, target audience, goals, and what makes the business different.
🔹 2. Identify the website's goal
Is the goal to generate leads, sell products, book appointments, build credibility, or simply provide information?
The goal determines the structure.
🔹 3. Understand the target audience
A website should be designed for the people who will actually use it, not just for the business owner.
I consider what visitors need to know before they're willing to take action.
🔹 4. Plan the structure
Before designing, I map out the important pages, navigation, calls-to-action, and user journey.
🔹 5. Focus on conversion
Every important page should have a clear purpose and a logical next step.
A beautiful website that doesn't generate inquiries isn't doing enough for the business.
🔹 6. Design for mobile first
The website needs to work smoothly across phones, tablets, and desktops.
🔹 7. Build with performance in mind
I pay attention to page speed, responsive design, usability, and clean structure.
🔹 8. Test before launch
I check forms, buttons, links, responsiveness, navigation, and the overall user experience before handing the website over.
My goal isn't simply to deliver a website.
My goal is to build a website that supports the client's business objectives.
Because the best website isn't necessarily the one that looks the most impressive.
It's the one that helps the business achieve its goals.
