For example, imagine someone purchases a course.

What happens next?

Do they immediately know where to start?

Do they receive the right welcome email?

Do they know what to expect?

Are they reminded or encouraged when appropriate?

Can they easily move through the content?

These details matter.

Because a good course isn't just built.

Why?

Because content alone is not a course.

A course should help someone move from a specific problem to a specific outcome.

Before recording 20 videos, creating worksheets, or building everything inside Kajabi, ask:

→ Who is this course actually for? → What problem are they trying to solve? → What outcome are they willing to invest in? → What should they be able to do differently after completing it? → Does every lesson move them closer to that outcome?

The mistake I see often is building courses around “What do I know?”

Instead, start with:

“What does my learner need to achieve?”

That shift changes everything from the curriculum and learning experience to the offer, emails, and marketing.

A well-developed course isn't a library of information.

It's a guided path from where someone is to where they want to be.

That’s the difference between simply creating a course and actually developing one.
