Being a better writer doesn't start with a course or a certification. For me, it started with becoming a better reader.

As a Literature scholar and published poet, I've spent years reading fiction.

What surprised me was how much it shaped the way I think about brands.

People rarely buy products for their features alone. They buy what those products mean to them.

A meal planner isn't just an app when it helps someone build a healthier relationship with food.

An ATS isn't just software when it helps recruiters feel more confident about their hiring decisions.

Reading fiction made me realize that people LOVE stories. That’s literally how we’re wired.

Storytelling, nostalgia, and emotion are often what make people connect with brands and want to be part of them.

So if there's one thing that's made me a better writer, it's this:

Read more. Pay attention to stories. Then bring that understanding of people into your writing.

Contra sent me a survey about how AI is changing freelancers' work — and it made me realize I have a lot to say. So here's part 1.

What used to need a team or weeks — graphics, research, packaging — I now do solo in days. AI didn't replace me. It removed the slow parts, so I deliver more, faster, and cheaper.

1000 AI designs. One human decision. In a world where AI can generate endless possibilities, the hardest part is no longer creating — it is choosing what truly matters. This project explores the relationship between artificial intelligence and human intuition. AI helped create countless visual directions, but the final design was shaped by something technology cannot replicate: empathy, taste, emotion, and purpose. Every rejected idea, every small adjustment, and every intentional choice became part of the story. The design was not selected because it was the most perfect. It was selected because it felt the most human. AI can generate. Humans understand. AI can imagine. Humans give meaning. The future of design is not human versus AI. It is human guided by AI.
