Shopify Theme Customization & Custom Development

They approached the project with approved Figma designs and a clear vision for their online storefront. My role was to transform those designs into a fully functional Shopify experience while maintaining complete visual accuracy and ensuring the site remained flexible and easy to manage through Shopify's Online Store 2.0 architecture.

Working with the Prestige theme as the foundation, I customized and extended the theme extensively to match the provided designs pixel-for-pixel. I developed custom Shopify 2.0 sections and blocks using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, creating a modular content system that allowed the client to easily manage and update page content without requiring developer assistance.

Throughout the project, I carefully structured and combined sections where needed to deliver the exact layouts, interactions, and user experience specified in the Figma designs while maintaining performance and scalability.

In addition to front-end development, I implemented several custom features and integrations to support marketing and customer engagement, including custom forms, Klaviyo integration, and appointment/booking functionality.

The Challenge

The client needed a professional Shopify store that reflected their brand identity and provided a seamless shopping experience. Their existing store lacked a cohesive design, clear product presentation, and an optimized customer journey, making it difficult to build trust and convert visitors into customers.

My Approach

I redesigned and customized the Shopify store with a modern, user-friendly layout tailored to the beauty industry. This included homepage design, collection organization, product page optimization, mobile responsiveness, navigation improvements, and branding consistency. I also focused on creating a smooth customer journey that made it easier for shoppers to discover products and complete purchases.

Project Overview

As the E-commerce Growth & Performance Manager for Class and Calm Lifestyle,

I directed the content design and messaging architecture for a premium digital gift card collection on our wellness Shopify platform. The goal was to build high-converting, visually striking digital assets that align with premium wellness branding and drive direct gift purchases through the storefront. The Creative & Copy Strategy To maximize emotional resonance while maintaining strict brand consistency, I established a clear visual hierarchy across all asset variants

Editorial Typography & Tone: I paired an elegant, high-contrast serif typeface for primary hooks (like "The Luxury of Peace" and "Serenity Bundle") with warm, high-end lifestyle imagery to trigger an aspirational sense of self-care

Instant Value Clarity: To ensure immediate transparency for customers skimming the store, I implemented a high-contrast gold laurel-wreath badge system highlighting the exact monetary denominations ($25, $50, $200) across all variants ( Targeted Microcopy: Sub-text hooks were tailored to gifting psychology, using direct phrasing like "Give the gift of deep relaxation" and "A thoughtful way to say, 'You deserve a break'" to lower purchase friction.
