A few weeks ago, I started my Framer template journey.
๐ง๐๐ผ ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ธ๐ ๐ถ๐ป, ๐ ๐ฏ๐๐ถ๐น๐ ๐๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป โ a cinematic website concept for a film/TV production company.
The original project came from a real-world Upwork brief.
I wasn't hired for the project.
I decided to build it anyway.
Then I thought:
"๐ง๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐น๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ ๐บ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐ฎ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐๐ ๐ด๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ฒ."
So I turned Lumen into a template and submitted it to the Framer Marketplace.
Today:

Someone I've never met looked at something I created and decided it was worth paying for.
That's a small sale.
But honestly, it feels like a ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ด ๐บ๐ถ๐น๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ.
I've been experimenting with combining AI + my design skills to build websites faster without letting AI make all the creative decisions.
AI helped me explore ideas, iterate and get Lumen built.
The design direction, decisions and final polish were still mine.
๐๐๐ถ๐น๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐๐. ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐ต๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ป.
And now Lumen is officially a template that someone chose to spend money on.
That's pretty damn cool. โค๏ธ
