Why cartoon characters are OVER in motion design
(They were all the rage in 2010, but not in 2026...)
- Too outdated and not modern
- In a tech environment, sorry, but it doesn't look technologically advanced. It looks cheap and low-quality... really.
- Today, the trend is more towards: abstract shapes, animated typography, minimalist design
- A less direct message
Getting straight to the point, grabbing attention in a few seconds (not 60 seconds to realize the character's computer crashed...)
