Consistency doesn’t have to mean posting every day.
One thing I’ve been testing with barjau.mov is cadence.
There’s a lot of pressure in social media to post 5–7 times a week just to “stay consistent.” But my account has taught me something different:
I’d rather publish fewer pieces that have a reason to exist than post because the calendar says I have to.
My cadence isn’t particularly high. What I try to keep consistent is the quality of the idea, the narrative format, and the value someone gets from watching.
At first, posting less can feel like you’re sacrificing traction.
But barjau.mov showed me that content people save, share, return to, and recognize can create momentum without needing to fill every day with another post.
That’s becoming part of how I approach my client work and my original IP as well.
Not quantity over quality. Not even quality over quantity.
Meaning + consistency.
Every piece should answer:
Why does this need to exist?
Not:
What can I post today?
