Every morning my mother draws Rangoli on our doorstep in Bengaluru. I always watched but could never recreate her art.

So I built Rangoli Studio — where anyone can create traditional Indian Rangoli patterns dot by dot.

THE PROBLEM: Traditional Rangoli art is disappearing in the digital world. No tool existed to experience this 5000 year old tradition. Until now.

Just starting my Config Makeathon entry, but before I touch a single frame in Figma or begin prompting in Figma Make, I needed to do some research.

I am building CookieDraft, an interactive drawing, planning, and spec tool for cottage cookie makers! This means I've spent way too much time developing a rich description for the flow mechanics of royal icing and how to calculate icing volume using the surface-area-to-volume ratio for each cookie shape.

I cannot be helped, my love for baking and design are comingling. I'm now in deep for the simple love of the game.

Off to find some inspiration! Meaning, I cannot wait to see all those cookie designs on Pinterest.
