Rescued's 'FALL' release focuses on the fall of man from the Garden of Eden. They reached out to me to build their Website without much direction but knowing that they wanted a brand direction that would 1) catch every eye and 2) be easily formatted to match the coming Winter drop. Let me know what you think, if you would be happy to be delivered something like this.

The oversized hand-painted type against the landscape is the piece I'd carry into the Winter drop. That gives both releases the same family resemblance even when the imagery and palette change.

𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 “𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱”? Imagine two websites. Website A Beautiful. Modern. Amazing animations. Perfect typography. Looks incredible. But... It generates very few enquiries. Website B Simple. Not flashy. Fewer animations. But visitors understand the offer immediately and regularly contact the business. Which website is better? I know which one I'd choose. But here's where it gets interesting: A website doesn't exist to impress the designer. It exists to serve the business and the person using it. So I'd rather have: 10% less “wow” and 100% more clarity. That's why I think the best website isn't necessarily the prettiest one. It's the one that does its job exceptionally well. Your turn: A or B? And more importantly... Why?
