Building from scratch in Blender for a product design piece rather than relying on a marketplace asset really shows in the final render quality. That level of custom 3D work is still rare enough to stand out in a feed full of templated visuals.
the first piece that caught my eye was "A Bouquet of Flowers" by Clara Peeters 💐
I love the darkness of it in contrast with the colorful petals of the flowers. And even though I am not usually a flower lover, for some reason this caught my eye, and I couldn't get it out of my head.
So I brought it onto @FLORA and started playing around with it.
Immediately it reminded me of those Botanicals sets from LEGO - so I KNEW that was gonna be my direction. Taking a 2D, oil on wood piece of art from circa 1612, and turning it into a 3D contemporary product that would bring me so much joy.
