Building your own portfolio: Day 1: "I'll keep it simple."
Day 7: "Maybe the spacing is off by 2px."
Day 18: "This animation doesn't spark enough joy."
Day 31: "Should I redesign the entire hero section?"
Day 52: "What if I just start from scratch..."
Designing for clients is surprisingly easier because there's a deadline.
Designing for yourself? Suddenly you're the client with unlimited revisions, the designer with unlimited opinions.
