I designed a custom AI voice assistant for a faith-based consulting group, built to handle calls with warmth and care, not just answer questions like a typical bot.
THE GOAL
A Christian consulting group needed a phone assistant that could represent their values, not a generic scripted bot. Callers needed to feel heard, respected, and cared for, especially when reaching out for prayer or support.
WHAT I BUILT
A fully custom AI personality and voice, tailored to the client's tone and mission
Multilingual support (English and Spanish), with automatic language detection based on how the caller responds
A detailed conversation script guiding the assistant through 5 caller intents: Prayer Requests, Consultations, Services Information, Donations, and General FAQs
Built-in prayer functionality, where the assistant offers to pray with callers and delivers short, personalized prayers based on what they share
Automatic data capture during the call: name, email, and other key contact details, saved straight to the CRM
Custom actions configured for call handling, contact updates, and post-call workflows
Knowledge base integration, so the assistant can answer specific questions about the business's services
Reporting setup for performance summaries after each call
Full testing through both web call and phone call before going live

Greets every caller warmly and asks their preferred language
Understands the caller's need and routes the conversation accordingly
Offers to pray for callers and delivers a short, sincere prayer when requested
