VELVET NOIR β Where Mystery Meets Cinematic Storytelling. πβ¨
What if an event promotion could feel like the opening scene of a luxury film?
Meet VELVET NOIR, a self-initiated creative concept for an exclusive Halloween masquerade experience.
Rather than creating another traditional Halloween advertisement, we wanted to build an atmosphere that captures attention, sparks curiosity, and makes people want to become part of the story.
From the mysterious invitation to the candlelit ballroom, every scene was developed to create a sense of anticipation, elegance, and exclusivity.
What we created:
Cinematic AI Video Production β A 30-second promotional film featuring coordinated visual storytelling, natural character movement, and cinematic camera direction.
Creative Direction & Campaign Identity β A cohesive Dark Fashion aesthetic built around burgundy velvet, antique gold, dramatic lighting, and sophisticated masquerade imagery.
Invitation & Event Design β Premium invitation concepts and promotional materials designed to extend the event experience beyond the video.
Social Media Advertising Creatives β Coordinated promotional visuals, event posters, and vertical social media assets.
Our approach
A successful event campaign is more than a beautiful video. It is a complete visual experience that connects the story, the atmosphere, and the marketing message.
At INNA | Chaos to Growth, we bring creative direction, AI-assisted production, visual design, and marketing thinking together to help brands turn ideas into memorable campaigns.
This is an independent portfolio concept created to demonstrate our approach to seasonal advertising and event promotion.
Planning a corporate event, product launch, holiday campaign, or exclusive celebration?
Let's create something your audience will remember.
Halloween, 2003.
A little girl falls into the quarry above Stonewell.
Her father finds her too late.
At least, that's the story he tells.
Twenty-three years later, he's coming home.
Tonight the town burns its secrets.
And something in a long grey coat is walking the street, reciting his own words back to him.
Its face is a mirror.
π THE HALFWAY
A first-person horror game built in Rive.
Fog, film grain and a flashlight, like the survival horror we grew up on.
A forest where someone keeps calling her name.
A diner that kept its light on.
An old police scanner tape with a two-minute gap.
2:41. She's still talking.
2:43. He's going back down.
Nobody knows what happened in between.
Except him.
In Stonewell, you write down the one thing you can't say out loud, and you burn it at midnight.
So what would you write on yours?
He only came halfway. β¨
π οΈ Built in Rive with the CLI, GPU Canvas, Scripting, Data Binding and State Machines.
This is a game idea that has been knocking about in my to-do list for a long time, and the Rive Halloween challenge came at exactly the right time to finally make my ultimate pumpkin carving simulator. I took great care to balance a realistic look with stylized graphics, and to give players enough tools to express themselves without overwhelming them with a full-on sculpting suite.
Built with both the Rive CLI and GPU Canvas. The scene is written in RML with a coding agent through the CLI, and three WGSL shaders render the 3D pumpkin: carved relief, cut walls, candlelight glowing through thin flesh, light shafts and smoke. Luau scripting runs the carving, undo and falling pieces, with data binding and a state machine driving the controls.
I made a post on my own website detailing the creation of this game !
