I worked relentlessly for 2 days on ideas for #figmamakeathon.
I made around dozens of prototypes on various ideas.
But nothing clicked, And just 3 hours to go for the deadline, I found that holy grail.
But it was so over by then, I still tried my best to give whatever polish I could to the end outcome.
I am going to finish that build outside of this challenge now. With more thoughts and time.

Congrats on wrapping it up! Challenges like these are great for pushing creativity and trying new ideas. Always interesting to see what people build during them.
This post is more of a rant, but also a lesson from my mistake, please learn from me.
I was thinking for the past 5 days straight about a "crazy idea" for the Figma Hackathon I tried so many different ideas, I prompted ChatGPT, asked, prompted again, tried again, and nothing worked like I wanted it to.
I was throwing so many shots in the dark that I just got tired and didn't end up contributing to the 6000+ lovely entries there are for this.
On top of all that, I started looking at all the entries, and compared myself to all of them. "Oh yea, this one is definitely going to win", "wait this one got 10k likes, there's the winner", "you know what, what is even the point of me trying."
Comparison is the thief of trying. Just ship the thing. Have fun doing it. Thank you to everyone who submitted, you all inspire me.❤️

My entry for the Figma Makeathon: Procedural Spring.
A procedural tree generator with default styles based on Figma colors and additional customization options.
You can control growth, sway, droop, and bloom through the camera or manually. Move to interact or fine tune every parameter yourself.
