Text on Sunglasses: an agentic effect built in invideo Editor

An effect that writes any text onto a subject’s sunglasses and tracks it through the shot: head turns, walking, and hands lifting the glasses.

Workflow

Generated the base clip with Seedance 2.5 inside invideo.

Created an agent (Jane) and briefed her to build a custom, editable effect with no hard-coded text.

Jane built the text layer, the lens pack and the shader, checking in with me along the way through question cards.

Fine-tuned the effect with live sliders: size, scroll speed, lens darkness and glow.

Making it work on any clip: imported a regular Pexels stock clip. Seedance Edit repainted only the lenses green, keeping the same person and the same moves, so any uploaded clip can be prepared for the effect.

Final step: I finished the green-lens key with Claude through the invideo connector, in the same project.

Result: change the words by typing in one text layer. Everything stays live and editable.
