My AI pricing agent is not allowed to go below a 25% margin.
Everyone is shipping "autonomous" agents this month. Here's how I build one for an eCommerce brand that actually trusts it:
1. The agent pulls competitor and cost data and proposes a new price.
2. A hard rule blocks anything under a 25% margin floor. No prompt can talk its way past it.
3. The proposal lands in Slack with the reasoning. A human taps approve or reject.
4. Only then does the store update, and every decision is logged.
The AI does the boring analysis. The owner keeps the final say on money.
That's the difference between an agent demo and an agent you can run on a real store.
