Now I have it in pretty pdf with copy guidelines, organized in Figma for new page designs and future updates, Canva for social media designs, and for inspo and slides in Claude Design System.
Tomorrow I'll draft my templates for carousels. :)
I spent years building marketing systems and content for other people's businesses.
Now I'm applying the same thinking to my own brand.
Today's progress:
- Set up Google AdSense on my site
- Created some templates in Canva for my services and proposals
One thing I've learned from helping founders and companies build their marketing foundations is that most people don't have a consistency problem.
They have a systems and workflow problem.
I've seen founders design every post from scratch, figure out what to say at the last minute, and try to keep up with social media, ads, email, and everything else in between.
Yeah, tt works for a few weeks.
Then they're burned out by week three and social media gets abandoned, emails stop going out, or campaigns get pushed to "next week."
That's why I believe in building a workflows and a simple system for yourself.
But, "system" can come across like a complex setup and something very abstract depending on the scenario.
It doesn't have to complex, it can be as simple as checklist template. The idea is getting out of your head into a place you can actually see it and use it, just like your groceries list.
Templates are a simple example. They aren't set in stone and can evolve over time to fit your business, even before you decide to build something from scratch for yourself.
They shift your brain from:
"What should this look like?" (plus the terror of starring into the void of your screen)
to:
"What do I want to say?"
A content plan does the same thing.
Instead of:
"What should I post today?" You're working from a list of ideas that already have a purpose.
Build a version. Whatever version. The idea is to test what works and what doesn't. No perfection here. Just use it. See where you get stuck. Change it.
And please run a A/B test your own workflows. You'd be surpriseeeed of how easier your life can get.
Your systems aren't supposed to be perfect or set in stone.
They're supposed to give you a starting point and make the next step easier.
That's what I'm building for myself now.
Because consistency isn't about being more disciplined.
Building a brand goes far beyond creating a logo. For SANCHES, I worked across brand identity, product positioning, digital commerce, product content, and the overall customer experience.
I enjoy working on the full journey — from sourcing and product development to creating a brand that is ready to meet its market.
Open to freelance projects in sourcing, e-commerce operations and brand development.
