I built The Stress-free Creator's Outsourcing Blueprint after working with creator entrepreneurs when they felt the most overwhelmed in their business.
Luckily, business stress is almost always a systems problem which means:
If you're feeling stressed in the day to day of your business, it's time to think about your outsourcing system!
More and more creators are outsourcing work in 2026 to dedicated and hard-working freelance specialists to get their time and energy back so they can focus on the magic that only they can do.
I believe that we should all focus on our own magic to cultivate what lights us up the most!
My name is Yash Patel, and I'm 23 years old, from the beautiful state of Gujarat, India. 🇮🇳
I'm writing this post because I genuinely need some advice and support from this amazing community.
I've been working in the tech and digital marketing industry for the past 3 years. My skills include:
💻 Web Development (React, Next.js, Shopify, WordPress)
🎨 UI/UX Design & Website Design
📈 Performance Marketing (Facebook Ads & Google Ads)
🚀 Building websites and digital experiences that help businesses grow.
I love what I do, and I'm confident in my skills. But there's one thing I'm still struggling with — getting my first freelance client.
It's been over 3 months since I started trying to find freelance work, and I haven't earned a single dollar yet.
I'm not sharing this for sympathy. I'm sharing it because I really want to learn, improve, and build something for myself.
At 23, one of my biggest dreams is to become financially independent and support my family. ❤️
I have the skills, I'm willing to work hard, and I'm ready to give my best to every opportunity. I just don't know how to get that first client who will trust me.
So I have a small request for my Contra friends:
If you're an experienced freelancer, how did you land your first client? What advice would you give someone like me who's just starting out?
And if you have a moment, please visit my Contra profile and check out my work. I'd genuinely appreciate your honest feedback.
Even a small piece of advice, a comment, a connection, or sharing my profile could mean a lot to me.
I'm not looking for shortcuts. I'm just looking for an opportunity to prove what I can do. 💪
Thank you for reading my story. I hope one day I'll be able to share my first freelance success here with all of you. ❤️
I hit $10K in earnings a few days ago and received so many messages asking what I did differently.
honestly, the only thing that really helped me was stopping the overthinking.I stopped thinking about all the possibilities. Stopped thinking about when it would happen. Stopped...
